Shifty Adventures in Nookie Wood er eit studioalbum av den walisiske musikaren John Cale. Det kom ut 1. oktober 2012 i Europa og 2. oktober i Nord-Amerika på Double Six Records.[4] Det vart gjeve ut for digital nedlasting, på tjukk vinyl og CD.[5] Dei fleste songane vart spelte inn i studioet til Cale i Los Angeles.[6][7] På ein song samarbeidde han med Danger Mouse.[8] I september 2011 gav Cale ut EPen Extra Playful. Albumet var det første nye studioalbumet hans sidan blackAcetate i 2005.[9]
